Pacific Coast seascapes spanning Northern California and Oregon – long-exposure wave studies, sea stacks, rocky shorelines, lighthouses, and the atmospheric conditions that define coastal photography. This collection emphasizes motion and light: silky water from extended exposures, fog banks rolling through sea stack formations, golden hour reflections on wet sand, and the shifting moods between dawn and dusk.
Locations include the rugged Northern California coast (Crescent City area, Trinidad), Oregon’s iconic formations, and a few Pacific Northwest pier and lighthouse subjects. Both black and white and color work are represented, with compositions ranging from wide coastal vistas to tighter studies of wave patterns and rock textures. The long-exposure technique smooths chaotic surf into painterly abstractions while preserving the structural drama of the coastline.
