The image captures my favorite old Aermotor in Lassen County, California USA on a late spring afternoon during some very unsettled weather conditions. Just a few miles to the south it was snowing hard enough to coat the road in a white blanket. I liked the way the very late afternoon sun was bathing the distant clouds and the windmill in warm light while the field was still in its beautiful spring green.
